Is this really my desktop wallpaper?+
Yes. The Windows app puts an interactive layer behind your desktop icons. You can write, move notes, and add photos right there. Its editor and settings are secondary controls.
Can I keep my own wallpaper?+
Yes. Widgets-only mode keeps your notes, photos, and drawings over your existing Windows wallpaper, without the whiteboard background.
Where do my notes and photos go?+
The Windows app saves them locally on your computer and supports backups. This page’s interactive demo is separate: anything you add here stays in this browser and is not uploaded.
Does it work with multiple monitors?+
Yes. Choose a single display or a seamless board across your Windows monitor arrangement. You can change the setup in Settings.
Can I use it on Mac or Linux?+
The current beta is for Windows x64. Mac and Linux versions are not available.
What happens after two animations?+
Free plays two GIFs or videos combined per workspace. Additional items stay on your board as still previews, and you can choose which two animate. Pro removes that limit.
How will Pro work across my devices?+
The launch plan is one Pro purchase attached to your Muralo account, with two devices active at a time. You’ll be able to replace an old device when you switch computers. Account activation is still being built; your boards remain local, without cloud sync.
Can I filter photos and moving media?+
Yes. Pro adds Mono, Warm, Cool, Vintage and Vivid filters for photos, GIFs and videos. Preview a look before applying it, or return to Original. Filters don’t change the source file.
Is Pro a subscription?+
No. The planned price is US$4.99 once, including version 1.x Pro updates. Future major upgrades and optional creator packs are separate. Free remains available without paying.
What should I know about the beta?+
It is an unsigned Windows preview, with independent testing still in progress. Free stays free at launch. Pro is $4.99 once, sold through Dodo Payments with a license key by email and a 14-day refund. See our Terms and Refund Policy.
